POP-UP STAY and PLAY groups

Relaxed,
joyful play

All Things Playtime is a weekly stay-and-play group held at Hanwell Village Hall, just on the edge of Banbury.

Designed for children aged 0–6, our sessions are full of open-ended, joyful play – and even though the main stars of the show are cars and push-along trains, we also love blocks, puzzles and a good story. Every 1.5-hour session is a chance to spark imagination, build confidence, and support early learning in a relaxed and welcoming space.

While we tailor activities for younger children, you know your child best – so if your slightly older one still loves a train track or getting stuck into a good story, they’re absolutely welcome too.

We keep things simple and flexible, with plenty of time for children to explore at their own pace – and for parents and carers to enjoy a proper cuppa or fresh coffee.

Where to find us.

Hanwell is a beautiful small idyllic village situated just three miles from the centre of Banbury in Oxfordshire. It is linked to the town by the Warwick Road (B4100) and the Southam Road (A423) connecting with the small village road. Even though the village hall doesn’t have a dedicated carpark, the villagers are very welcoming and don’t mind on-street parking by visitors.

Grow their creative confidence

Each toy set in our space has been thoughtfully selected with young, curious and creative minds in mind. Whether it’s building tracks, fixing engines or diving into a world of numbers and letters - every element is here to spark imagination and encourage independent exploration.
